Improper Ridge Vent Openings
The roof decking is not cut away enough on each side of the ridge for adequate attic ventilation flow thru the ridge vent (the exhaust vent). Each side of roof sheathing (decking), 7/16" OSB Tech Shield in this case should be cut back 3/4" - 1" away from ridge. 
San Antonio area New Home Move In Inspection is shown- Same home in both pictures. The Ridge vent installed as seen in lower photo doesn't make any difference if roof decking is not properly cut back at ridge area as seen in upper photo.
